Fundraising

It's easier than you might think and will directly reduce your tour price! You can SAVE up to $400 by getting sponsored via the Everyday Hero website.

Getting sponsored is a fun way to raise money. This can be done online at Everyday Hero, an organisation that serves over 200 charities throughout Australia. It's easy to build your own personal fundraising page and get sponsored online www.everydayhero.com.au. Just make sure you nominate CAFNEC as your charity of choice when you register on the Everyday Hero website, otherwise it won't count towards your fundraising component for the Tour.

We strongly urge you to raise more than the minimum fundraising amount in support of the unique north Queensland environment, some of which you will experience first hand on tour. Prizes will be awarded to those who raise the highest amount over the minimum fundraising component, so make sure you keep those donations rolling in...

If you feel you can't fundraise - there is the option of paying the entire Tour Price yourself and still receive a tax deductible receipt for the fundraising component.

All fundraising from this bike ride will remain in far north Queensland. The beneficiary of the bike tour will be the Cairns and Far North Environment Centre (CAFNEC), a non profit, community based organisation. CAFNEC will use monies raised to further their core objective - which is to protect and enhance the natural environment of far north Queensland, through conservation and ecological sustainability.

Please note that the registration fee and the minimum fundraising component are both mandatory for entry to this event.
