This bicycle tour is an event designed to enhance the rider’s appreciation of the wonderful natural assets of Far North Queensland. All proceeds go to the local Environment Centre in Cairns.

Initially riders climb west through the World Heritage rainforest mountains behind Cardwell, then through open woodlands to the gorge country of the Herbert River, near where the "Survivor" TV series was filmed in 2000.

The tour continues north to Innot Hot Springs, then loops back to re-enter the World Heritage area near Ravenshoe. It continues through the scenic back country of the Atherton Tablelands, eventually reaching Lake Tinaroo. From there the tour passes through World Heritage mountains via Copperlode Dam and descends to Cairns.

The tour is half sealed and half on dirt roads. Mountain bikes or touring bikes with wider tyres are recommended, as is front suspension. The 2007 cost was $650 which includes all meals, camping fees and support. Home made munchies, a pub meal, and a lavish farewell dinner are other features of this ride. The train journey and bike transport from Cairns to Cardwell will cost an extra $45.
